Work with the Career Coach to launch new ideas

  • Support the Career Advisor with ideas on how to best support teachers with this work and fit into what is already happening at school sites
  • Identify needs and offer ideas for developing resources


Work with colleagues

  • Take ideas back to your department or grade level to look for areas of connection
  • Help drive the work forward as thought partners, contributing and developing new ideas over time
  • Provide feedback about implementation based on conversations with your department or grade level


Talk to students

Develop Identity, Expand Experiences, Map Opportunities, Reflect and Dream. The 48 activities designed by Connect the Work provide students with opportunities to:


  • Systematically develop their career identity for the present and future.
  • Engage in “real world” experiences, find people to help guide them, and explore which environments are ideal for them.
  • Feel empowered in seeing options and navigating their path.
  • Develop their own narrative, set goals, and imagine their possible future selves.
